AGREEMENTS

To make the most of your Naked Treks experience,

these are the agreements you will be asked to uphold throughout the trek.

These have been created for you to disconnect from your normal routine in order to find a greater connection with yourself through nature.

Please arrive to your trek prepared to remain in integrity with these agreements.

1. The "Honor Nature" Agreement:

It's our responsibility to uphold the integrity of the Earth when we choose to explore nature. You will learn some basic outdoor lessons, such as The 10 Essentials and the Leave No Trace principles. Please follow the lessons we teach you in regard to what is acceptable and not acceptable in the wild.

2. The "Respect Each Other" Agreement:

While we are here to enjoy nature and have a great time, everyone is having their own very personal experience, which is what we hold space for. Please respect the journey of each person in our group.

This includes your trek guides; cooperate with their instructions, especially regarding safety.

*** Dishonoring this agreement could quickly lead to unnecessary dramatic and dangerous situations. Do not put the group in jeopardy. Think before you act. If it is not an overall respectable action, do not do it.

3. The "Stay In Your Own Tent" Agreement:

The tent is a safe space.

There is absolutely no going into anyone else's tent at any time for any reason.

Please respect the privacy of everyone in the group.

*** with the exception of medical or environmental emergency safety.

4. The "ZERO Technology" Agreement:

In order to support your escape into nature, you will be asked to put your phone in airplane mode until the end of the trek.

(Phones are for taking PHOTOS only)

NO COMPUTERS, TABLETS, ETC. It's 3 days. You got this.

*** Please plan ahead accordingly to set yourself up for a stress-free and successful trek. Be sure to handle all work or family responsibilities prior to meeting at the trailhead. Make the arrangements you need in order to give yourself permission to be present for this experience.

5. The "Sober" Agreement:

Due to emergency response safety, high elevation affects, quality control of gear, and the overall intention of our treks and curriculum – we have a strict ZERO drug or alcohol policy (including marijuana), and including solo time in your tent.

This holds a safe container for you and the group to truly drop into Nature and be present with this experience.

*** We ask that you please be prepared to honor and respect this policy.

( Private Elopement Treks are exempt from this policy! )
