With our original business model of self sufficient curriculum and individualized gear, covid hasn’t changed much in the way we run our treks! 

 

Obviously, we ask that you take personal responsibility for your own health, and do not attend a trek if you’re feeling sick.

GEAR

You do not share ANY of your gear with anyone else. We provide each client with ALL of their own gear that only they use and touch!

We meticulously clean and sanitize all of our rental gear with high quality disinfectant, so it's fresh and ready for you to use!

SPACE
Hiking is typically done at various paces, as we naturally tend to allot space between each other to explore and reflect at our own pace. If you feel the need for more space, our treks are a great opportunity to practice speaking your truth and taking responsibility for your own desires in life by asking for what you need, and you are also expected to respect others’ expressions for such. 

MASKS
Due to the nature of our backcountry wilderness treks being 100% outdoors with natural, safe, and clean air to breathe that properly oxygenates your lungs, we do not require the use of masks on our treks. 
**If you feel better wearing one, absolutely, you do you!

PROOF
We do not require proof of personal medical decisions, including test results, from any of our staff, guides, clients, or hikers. We again trust and ask that you uphold your integrity and take personal responsibility for your own health. It is not our place as a privately owned small business to require nor inquire of your personal medical decisions. 
**We do ask that you privately disclose current medical concerns or relevant prescriptions, as we are your first responders and need to know for emergency response scenarios, but that’s all.

EX: allergies, diabetes, physical limitations, etc.

LIABILITY WAIVER
The covid awareness release of liability waiver is one of the forms you are asked to sign upon joining a trek. You can see this on our “forms” page under “more.”

 

If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable with our privately owned and operated small business’s covid protocols, please do not join a trek at this time.

We respect your personal decisions and hope to see you for another trek later on!
